If you have a WELLBEING watch:
The reason the watch hands goes out of sync with the atomic clock
The watch hands are mechanical so the watch uses a sensor, near the number 10 on the watch face, to monitor the clock hands pass over it. This sensor check helps to ensure the clock hands are aligned with the correct time. However, the sensor is expecting a shadow from the hand passing over it, so if the watch is in a bright light then the sensor can get an incorrect reading – resulting it the watch hands not showing the correct time.
To correct the watch time
Using the Companion App or Web Portal, simply press the Calibrate button which can be found on the dashboard. This will instruct the watch to set the time against the atomic clock.
If the problem persists or you need help with these instructions then please contact your Companion Advisor for help.
If you have a SOS Watch:
If you are taking your watch abroad, then you will need to restart your watch to synchronise the watch time with the local time zone
Press and hold the grey button for a few seconds until the watch switches off (displaying the power icon and then “good-bye” along with haptic feedback to let you know it is powering off).
Once turned off, please reconnect the watch to its charger (powered). This will restart the watch and display a welcome message.
The watch will now check the time zone and set the watch clock accordingly.
